The Path to Free Memberships

May 27th 2009 19:16
Free Premium Membership
Can it really be true? Free memberships for premium online games? Well, this is probably no secret to the Orble community, but, yes Virginia, you too can have "free membership" in online gaming. Free Club Penguin, free Runescape, free World of Warcraft, free Neopets.

I will just point out, as an adult, that something isn't free if you work for it, and you have to work for it. The beauty of the internet is that there are many jobs available out there, and they love to pay you in virtual cash, such as Paypal, or free memberships, or AdSense credit.

The most universal form of payment is Paypal. Some sites will also pay directly to a bank account, if you're interested in real world cash. But Paypal is great for gamers, since you can use it for World of Warcraft credit, Club Penguin credit, Travian gold, and also at Amazon, which allows you to buy tons of game cards for those same games.

These are your best options for earning online money.

1. Blog. That's right, you heard it here first! Now join me. Here at Orble, you can create your own blog and post on other blogs as well. This blog, Giventogaming.com accepts members to write for it. There are Google Adwords on each page, and the credit gurus assign some to Orble and some to the writer. The only downside is that Google AdSense pays out after $100, so it can take a while to build credit. The best part is that sometimes, blogging about gaming is just as much fun as gaming is. You can do game reviews (PC, online, any system). You can post your own videos with comments, you can link to other videos. Do it now!

You can also build your own blog and stock it with Google Adsense, on a private server or paid blog.

2. eHow If you haven't tried eHow yet, you haven't lived. Users can contribute "How To" articles on almost any subject, and again, there is Adsense advertising which creates revenue that is later shared with the authors. You can post on gaming or any other subject, and receive paypal payments once a month. The best news is that eHow pays out at $10, whooo!

3. Studio 101, Associated Content, Mylot and other websites will also pay you for posting articles or even just discussions. Some of these internet content publishing "schemes" work out and some don't.

4. Now drive traffic. Learn to drive traffic to your blogs, articles, videos and sites. On each different site, you have an opportunity to promote your other articles. That creates backlinks that help move your article to the top of the search engine results. When you can pull in traffic (with awesome keywords like Runescape or X-box reviews), the pennies will begin to add up. Check some of the great advice from the pros at eHow.

I hope this helps you see your way to a nice fat membership, without having to earn real cash at a job. Soon you will have all the memberships you like, as well as some other great gear to go with it.

Do you have any other favorite websites for earning credit? Any warnings of sites to avoid? I have been very happy with the return from the sites I use (Orble, and eHow). Some offers are limited to participants in certain countries, be sure to check the user agreements when you sign up. Good luck!
