Wow, you look hot in that new Dragon Plate
There are new goodies in the Jagex Store this week. Let's call them New Year goodies to not criticize the poor geeks who don't release their Xmas stuff in November. Since there is a Calendar, they will learn quickly from that mistake (even though people don't need a calendar until January, they have probably already gotten one by December, if they're going to.)
I'm going to forgive them though, because the stuff is awesome. In addition to the Dragon Plate T-shirt, they have some other black and medieval shirts.
They also have some great branded gaming supplies. Mousepads are standard fare, and I personally usually get mine out of the dumpster. But how about a branded wireless mouse, with a Runescape logo and (we can hope) good speed and accuracy. Then plop that baby down on your RS mouse pad, oh yeah, that's worth the price (£ 12.72 for the wireless mouse, and £ 2.44 for the "mousemats"). Other goodies include mugs, a backpack and a string bag, pencil case and a USB flash drive (£ 8.80).
Then just to tempt your credit limit, they threw together some packs. The basic packs are cute, but just a collection of the sparse fare, and like I said before "THAT CALENDAR IS GOING TO LIMIT YOUR TIME WINDOW FOR THIS PROMOTION" Maybe they are planning to sell out (the Red shirt is limited edition, and will probably go before the end of the year).
But they found another tempting gem to include, year-long subscriptions via the Wallie card. This subscription method is available to players all around the world. Additionally, Jagex will ship internationally.
There is a gamer pack for £ 19.99, which includes the Mousemat, USB drive and wireless mouse. The Gamer Pack Plus, with a year long subscription included, is £ 59.99. The Christmas Gift Pack brings you the Limited Edition Dragon Platebody t-shirt, the Runescape Novel, "Betrayal at Falador" and the 2009 Calendar, again at a price of £ 19.99 or £ 59.99 with the year long subscription Wallie Card. The final pack is a New Year School package with a Runescape wallet and pencil case, a backpack and a drawstring bag, and the 2009 Calendar for £ 26.99, and it doesn't seem to be available with the subscription time.

Overall I give the new offerings a big thumbs up. The prices are about right (if my pounds sterling conversions are correct) and some of the stuff is just downright cool. The packs are great, and the big fat year-long Wallie card would be a great gift for any Runescape fan.
